The Roaring Art of the 1920s

In the aftermath of World War I, an emphasis on social progress and
technology spurred an explosion of creativity and a change in the way society
viewed itself. Modernism and a desire to experiment replaced the elaborate
Victorian era in the fine arts world. The immersion of photography as an art
form and the effect of advertising influenced art styles such as: Dada,
Surrealism, Symbolism, Expressionism and Art Deco. In this series, we'll look
at the cultural changes and the artists that created the Roaring Art of the
1920s!
